Students Applaud VC’s Infrastructural and Security Development

Some students of the University of Jos have applaud the Vice Chancellor, Professor S. Maimako for his impressive efforts towards the infrastructural development and security of the institution.
This applauding remark was made during the Vice Chancellor’s POP in Naraguta Campus recently.
UJONLINE gathered that since Professor Maimako assumed office in 2016, there has been great improvement in infrastructure and security.
Speaking with James Amadi, a 300 level mass communication student, in an interview, he disclosed there are several ongoing projects in the school like in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Social Sciences and the completion of the Administrative Block that was actually started by the immediate  past Vice Chancellor, Prof. Hayward Mafuyai while other projects have been completed.
Mary John, a 300 level mass communication student also spoke: “I was impressed by the efforts of the Vice Chancellor on security matters. The broken fence around Zion Hostel which had remained that way for years has been mended and also, security lights are being mounted all over the hostel arena.
Migap Francis, a student from the Faculty of Education also said “We are happy with the Vice Chancellor because he has the interest of the students at heart”.
