Like the popular saying “all play without work makes jack a dull boy”, the students of pharmaceutical sciences decided to to pause the work and play as they held their 2019 PANS WEEK tagged PHARMALCHEMY which started on the 14th of October 2019 and ended on the 20th October 2019.
The PANS week started with a rally where the students marched round the Bauchi Road Campus to create awareness and later followed by a symposium by some guest speakers. They were Pharmacist I.J Sunday, Pharmacist A.D Dangiwa and CEO of Nasara Pharmacy, Pharmacist Seun Asieba who all discussed on the “Effect of drug abuse on Nigerian youth and the way out”.
On the 15th, a debate was held between each levels and 500 level students emerged as the winners, followed by a PANS GOT TALENT where the students got to display their talents.
The week which ought to last for 7 days lasted for 3 Days. It was rounded up with the following activities: a cultural display, cooking competition between various students of the department and witnessed Mimido Orsar emerging as the winner, followed by some indoor games such as dart, chess and ludo games.
