The exams of the University of Jos commenced today the 25th of November 2019, by 8:00 am. The department of mass communication 200 level in the faculty of arts started with Mac 215 (consumer affairs) Students in the faculty of arts where seen in groups, around the faculty premises studying for their exams.
    The students of the English department 200 level reacted bitterly at the outcome of the exams on hearing that their examination was canceled. English 206 (creative writing) which was scheduled for the 25th of November 2019, was postponed and the fixed date for the exam will be communicated to the students.
Conducting an interview with a few of the students of the department, Amaka Cara Chukwu expressed great disappointment and said that the postponement of the exam is going to affect other exam time table. Anthony Bernard stated the reason why the exam was canceled which he said lack of sufficient classroom for the students to write their exams due to their population and also advise that the department management should take it into consideration against next time.
  Mass communication 300 level and 100 level students were merged together in the faculty hall for the commencement of their exams. Students were carefully checked and observed by the supervisors before entering the hall and in order to avoid exams malpractice. Students dress code was checked  in order to figure out students that don’t go with the instructions and rules of the department.
Students where interviewed and a 200 level student Francis Asiegu thanked God for leaving him alive, and also prayed for success to all students of the University of Jos.
Manasseh Tashi a 300 level student encouraged students to develop the habit of reading not only for the sake of exams because readers are leaders.
Gina Igah student of 300 level advised the students to study diligently accompanied by prayers because nothing good comes easy.
