Construction of the social science faculty restarts after two years

The social science faculty construction at the Naraguta campus, University of Jos which has been existing since 2015, and abandoned for 2 years has been revisited.
The Vice Chancellor of the school Prof. Sebastian Maimako handed over the project to new contractors in the 12th of October, 2019.
The 2 storey building which is a two winged block comprise of departmental boardrooms, offices, classroom block, stores, bathrooms and toilets.
In an interview with one of the Engineers in charge if the project, Mr Panels Lot gave a quick breakdown on the project’s progress. “The clearance of the building started on the 13th-14th of October, carpentry work on the 17th, plastering on the 28th, block work on the 30th of October, casting on the of November,2019”.
In an interview with three students from the faculty of management sciences, all students of accounting; David Goshit, a 400 level student it is a good development even though he won’t be using as he is graduating but it will be used by the incoming students.
Samuel Peter of 200 level expressed joy as the challenge of having to share other faculties will soon be over.
The last interviewee by the name Sarah Uyimeh commended the effort of the VC Prof. Sebastian Maimako for the infrastructure.
